Dear Happy Valley Families,

We are heading into our last week of school and looking forward to  two special assemblies next week. On Wednesday, June 27th  at 10:30, we will be wishing farewell to our Grade 5’s as they prepare for Middle School. On Thursday, we will be having an assembly at 1:15 to celebrate a successful year of learning together.

This year has been memorable for our entire school community. We met new friends, tried new things and set new goals. We enjoyed helping others through the Terry Fox Run, Cops for Cancer, Jump Rope for Heart, Christmas Hampers, Stuff the Bus and more! Thanks to the hard work of our PAC, we were able to enjoy having fun with our families at the Fall Harvest Festival,  Hallowe’en Dance, Movie Nights, Glow Dance and Spring Fair. We went on incredible field trips and watched presenters and performers. We shared our musical talents at the Christmas concert and displayed our artistic learning at the Art Show. The staff have worked hard to provide rich and engaging learning opportunities and students have grown through their efforts.

It has been a pleasure to join the Happy Valley community this year. On behalf of the HV staff, I’d like to thank our families for your kindness and generous support. Thank you for sharing your children with us! What great kids.

 Sincerely,

Karen Sjerven
